Shingles

Asphalt Shingles

When it comes to roofing materials, asphalt shingles are relatively inexpensive. They are also quicker and easier to install than some of the other roofing materials. This makes it less expensive to install.

The life expectancy of an asphalt roof is typically 25 years. Together, the installation cost and roof longevity, make asphalt roofing a very cost-effective roofing option.

•  Inexpensive roofing material
•  Readily available
•  Less expensive installation option
•  Quickly installed

Composite Shingles

A Composite shingle is a state-of-the-art engineered polymer. This high-tech, well made shingle is intentionally designed to look like natural wood, slate, or other type roofing material.

The backing used in composite shingles is made of an integrated polymeric material. This makes composite shingles (synthetic shingles), much more durable than natural materials, such as slate tiles, which are more brittle and are easily and frequently broken.

Composite shingles are among the industry’s highest rated roofing materials for impact resistance.

Important advantages in using synthetic shingles include the following:
•  Longer lasting
•  Require less maintenance
•  Available in a variety of aesthetic styles
•  Fire resistant
•  Are frequently made from recycled rubber products; such as car tires.
